Francisco Ruiz
Dr.
Francisco Ruiz is one of the leading international experts in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Relational Frame Theory (RFT). He is currently a professor of clinical and experimental psychology at Fundación Universitaria Konrad Lorenz in Bogotá, Colombia. He is also a member of the Clinical Psychology Laboratory (Clinik Lab), the most active and scientifically productive research group in ACT and RFT in the Spanish-speaking world.
Dr. Ruiz’s work has focused on the development of an ACT-based intervention model known as RNT-Focused ACT, designed to deconstruct dysfunctional patterns of Repetitive Negative Thinking (RNT), including worry and rumination.
He has published more than 130 peer-reviewed articles in several prestigious academic journals.
