Alessandra Ciolfi

Alessandra Ciolfi is a highly experienced Italian psychotherapist specialising in psychotraumatology. She integrates multiple therapeutic models—Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (certified trainer and consultant), EMDR, CBT and Structural Dissociation—with a particular clinical focus on the body and bottom-up processes.  

She works with adults affected by complex trauma in both private and hospital settings, treating neuro-physiological dysregulation (e.g., vasovagal syncope, panic attacks, arrhythmias) and supporting political refugees. Alessandra also practises in forensic contexts, working with sex offenders and abusive men in both custodial and community settings.  

As an international trainer and supervisor, she contributes actively to the global dissemination of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and supports the professional development of mental-health practitioners worldwide.
