Foundations of Clinical Intuition

  • Define clinical intuition and its function in therapeutic presence
  • Differentiate intuition from bias, impulsivity, and countertransference

      • What intuitive message emerged?
      • How did it communicate (sensation, image, word)?
      • What resistance or concern did you feel?
      • What ethical risks or benefits would have come from acting on it?
      • What support would you need to use it ethically
