Description

Guided Imagery is a powerful tool in your play therapy toolbox to enhance body awareness, calm internal chaos, and manage big behaviors.

As the imagery is created in the child’s psyche, using expressive arts in play therapy to create the image externally helps to deepen the connections between brain and body, memory recall, and develop a coherent narrative for the child.

Join Clair Mellenthin and Tammi Van Hollander as they share their favorite scripts and guided imagery process to show you how garnering the power of imagination and creativity in play therapy will:

  • Build safety in the relationship and playroom
  • Promote self-soothing and co-regulation
  • Enhance coping strategies for anxiety, stress and trauma symptoms

Don’t miss this interactive, hands-on experience.  Come ready to play!
